Review by Aitor Poyo
Out of Chaos is a fine mix of nowadays stories with self-interpreted Ancient Greek myths in a blended pool of languages including Spanish, French and Japanese.
The crew of Temple Theatre try to bring us these stories from the chaos and merge them again into the mess. In all honesty, I couldn’t see chaos at all, but did see fast synchronized movements in a well coordinated group of mates.
As a native Spanish speaker myself, I felt odd when the fellow countryman told his first tale in his mother tongue, what were the others understanding ? How could they know what he was narrating? Fortunately for the English only speakers, all the other sketches are perfectly understandable (although a bit of Japanese culture knowledge might be helpful).
It lasts roughly an hour but paying the six pounds fifty it cost on Monday and Tuesday is worth a slot in your agenda.
