Decided to blog about a few businesses I have used recently and my first review  is Van Man Removals  (link opens in new window).

The guy who runs the business is called Martin and he has to be one of the most efficient and helpful removers I have come across.  I had stuff to move to other family members’ houses and to pick up some pieces from my friend’s houses – a furniture swap shop !!

I originally emailed him as it was out of hours, but he had replied by the time I checked my inbox the next morning.

His prices were extremely competitive (other companies were charging 20 - 30% more !)  and Martin got the job because he can fit jobs in a short notice which I needed,  thanks to his helpful team of staff and the hours they work (7 days)

Martin and his colleague arrived prompt and did the job well, respecting  my house  and keeping the furniture off the walls as they went down the stairs.

He finished back at my house again and the job took the time that he estimated.  It was a fixed price, which is fair for the customer in case of traffic delays etc.

I’ve only had to use 3 removal companies in my lifetime so far, but I will always use this guy from now on and recommend him to my family and friends.
