Today I made the most of the good weather and zoomed around Edinburgh, taking in as much of Doors Open Day as I could possibly manage.
I started off at Calton Hill, followed by Regent Road, Royal Observatory, Duddingston Kirk and Dr Neil’s Garden / Thomson’s Tower (birth place of curling). Swiftly followed by Drumsheugh baths and Drumsheugh Toll. Out to Corstorphine to go up the Hill Tower there and home via Granton lighthouse.
A busy day indeed, but thankfully tomorrow’s are all near each other ! I really encourage you to see as many of them as you can, the staff on hand at the venues are friendly and provide good information
I will let the pictures speak for themselves
